14th May 2020

Reason to Short
  • Can't resist to short it again for a top-up. I think the stock is struggling.
Lesson Learnt:
  • The market rebound was quite strong, surprisingly, maybe I should have waited for another day.
  • MACD is still in a downward trend. The chart still looks bearish to me.

7th May 2020 - Will this be my Internet Banking Machine (IBM)?

$121.60
 4th May 2020

Reason to Short
  • It fulfill the pattern that I was looking for.
Lesson Learnt:
  • It fell out of the bottom trend line, but I thought it might fought back somehow. It looks like my purchase line might give me a bit more tolerance.
  • It was quite interesting that the next day, the market actually kind of rally but luckily it weakens late of the day.

3rd May 2020 - Is "IBM" stands for "In Breaking Motion"?

Reason to Watch
  • Miss the nice chance to short.
Lesson Learnt:
  • Hopefully have time and chance to bite it on Monday.
  • It is quite a long term pennant formation after dropping out of long trading range.
  • According to "Getting Started in Technical Analysis" by Jack D. Schwager around page 93, the next direction should be the same as the previous one and this one should be strong.
