No time to update my stock transaction…. Very busy with so many things.

 

Reason for Buy / Sell / Short / Cover:

 

1. Stop loss triggered at $9.45
2. It actually punched through two MA lines. Unbelievable!

 

Lesson Learnt:

 

1. I did not expect that this stock can retrace back so far.
2. My stop loss is too far away cost me a big chunk of profits.
3. Continue to monitor this stock. I think the momentum is still there.

Pattern Study

 

1. There are so many V-shape around with huge profit to gain from.
2. If there are many of them it kind of indicate the bullishness of the entire stock market.

 

What should I do?

 

1. Look out for trend reversal signals and buy in stages after each signal is validated.
2. Getting at the most bottom is close to impossible, but getting in at stage 2 onwards is achievable.

1. Average purchase price is at $7.65.

 

Lesson Learnt:

 

1. Top up at the wrong time, even though the chart seems to get support at the moving average line previously. The material sector was going down past few days.
2. It seems to be quite hard for me to protect profit also.
