temp Reason for Buy / Sell / Short / Cover:

  1. I cannot stand the way it dropped anymore. It kept showing weakness on the intraday chart.
  1. After report announcement, it gapped up and then keep sliding down.
  2. Daily chart showed that the 50MA line is no longer strong enough to hold the price drop anymore and now finally broke through.

Lesson Learnt:

  1. I should have sold it when it broke the top head neckline on the daily chart. That time I was thinking that it might be a good opportunity for me to top up.
  1. Might see a lot of rebound activity later at price range of $8.00 where we have 20MA and 50MA lines support on the monthly chart.

  2. Intraday shows that it is bucking on uptrend and price has came up of 20MA and 50MA lines.
  3. Intraday MA lines bullish cross.
  4. Daily chart shows that it is forming a pennant formation.

Lesson Learnt:

  1. Be careful, this pennant formation might lead to further low.
  2. Watch the reaction of indexes carefully. The BIG BEAR might return.

10th May 2011–Pattern Study–Calling all robbers !

Ticker:Temp

  1. C, BAC

Topic:

  1. Citibank reverse split - Normally this is not a good sign.
  2. Citibank is opened to all robbers (SHORTers).

Lesson Learnt:

  1. Looks like it is giving more chances to the SHORTers.
  2. Stronger support is at $43.00.
  3. MACD shy away from the 0.0 line.
  4. OBV keep going down.
  5. BAC is not looking good either. More potential to fall.
  6. A fall on C will definitely triggered BAC too.

1st-May-2011–Pattern Study C, BAC, GS, WFC, UBS, FAS and FAZ

Ticker:

  1. C, BAC, GS, WFC, UBS, FAS, FAZ

Topic:

  1. If you refer back to the post http://stockaki.blogspot.com/2011/03/30th-march-2011pattern-studyc-bac-and.html, the prediction on the banks are somehow right on path
  2. Now

Lesson Learnt:

  1. FAS is forming a triangle. Need to decide where it will go first. Same goes for C.
  2. FAZ is coming down to test its support trend line.
  3. UBS form a double top pattern, however this stock looks most bullish among all.
  4. BAS looks really weak. Now testing its support line $12.30.
  5. GS looks even worse, broken down from the triangle that it formed. Also below all its MA lines. Looks more like a shorting opportunity.
  6. WFC is the one that look much more healthier with the support now at 50MA line at $28.60
  7. Monday might gives us indication whether we should go LONG or SHORT financial stocks.

30th March 2011–Pattern Study–C, BAC and FAS

Ticker:

  1. C, BAC and FAS

Topic:

  1. Let us make a prediction what will happened to C, BAC and FAS in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
  2. Let us "look at it a whole body".
  3. C should stop at around $4.25 to $4.30.
  4. BAC should stop at around $12.50.
  5. Why I say that and how do I come to such a prediction? Well, basically I expect FAS to reach at $27.00 and by that time I expect C and BAC to follow their down trend and reach the prediction support line.

Lesson Learnt:

  1. This is just my prediction or expectation. So don't take it seriously.       ;-)   But if it does happen, you should know where is the safe entry point, don't you?
  2. I guess I can put in the GS counter too, but just a bit lazy to do that.

  2. BAC broke the triangle and fall.
  3. BAC broke down the 20MA and 50MA lines.
